We detect the visitor

When they land on your site, ReferTrack gives a visitor ID to track their repeat visits. The Affiliate ID is stored for future attribution.

STEP 2

Sale is tracked

The sale occurs and attribution is rewarded to the appropriate Affiliate, based on your rules.

STEP 3

Allow time for returns

In the event a customer gets a refund, the commission shouldn't be paid. Consider the sale "approved" only after the product has shipped or the return window expires.

Pay Commissions

Each month, on their preferred payment platform, you'll send their earned commissions. Only pay who you want to pay, and automate the tax forms.

These are some of the questions we hear most often.  Want to talk to a human about Affiliate Marketing or if an Affiliate Program can work for your business, we're happy to talk.

Affiliate Marketing is a performance-based marketing channel where a merchant pays affiliates for sales that result from their referrals.

A merchant will license ReferTrack to run their own Affiliate Program.  Prospective Affiliates will apply to the Affiliate Program and, if accepted, will be rewarded for the referring sales they send to the Merchant.

In short:  Yes, you can do both.  You can pay for leads or pay for sales.  You can set a default rate (or amount) that you'll pay for leads or sales.  For each Affiliate, you can customize the amount you'll pay them.

You can save on service fees if you pay your affiliates yourself, or you can hire us to pay them.  Either way, your affiliates can be paid on their preferred platform, like Paypal, ACH or paper check.

Web browsers oftentimes block some "third party" tracking leaving some sales untrack-able.  ReferTrack doesn't rely solely on cookies, as there are many layers of tracking.  Whenever a tracking cookie is helpful, we always use First Party cookies.

Every Affiliate Program varies and your success depends on many factors, like: How competitive is your offer?  How well do you convert referred traffic?  How responsive are you with your Affiliate partners?  Do you provide them with conversion-focused marketing material?  Are you paying your affiliates every month, regularly?  

Unfortunately, this is not a one size fits all answer.

However, a well-run Affiliate Program can see results within a few months.

No.  The software must be setup and provisioned for each client and there are a number of hard costs that we encounter to set up a client.
